The Last Homecoming at Hillwood
It was a successful homecoming dance and football game for the last year of Hillwood High School.
“I had a great experience at the Hillwood homecoming dance by hanging with my friends and seeing everyone having a great time,” senior Jamir Harrison said.
The high-energy Homecoming Dance took place in the auditorium lobby on Oct. 7. Then, the Toppers faced Glencliff and won 52-6.
“This is the final memory for Hillwood football. You cannot go back to it,” Terry Strickland said.
We also had a homecoming queen and her name is Giselle Vasquez. The homecoming theme was “No Way Home.”
“The game was amazing. There was great school spirit and good sportsmanship and a positive atmosphere,” junior Tieunhi Pham said.
